Life of Vijay Sethupathi
The famous actor was born in Virudhunagar district, where he spent most of his childhood, and after that, he moved to Chennai,i.e., after completing his class six.
After shifting to Chennai, Vijay Sethupathi attended MGR higher secondary school in Kodambakkam and then he pursued his degree program in B. Com from Dhanraj Baid Jain College, Chennai.
During college,Vijay Sethupathi did various odd jobs, like the cashier at a food corner phone booth operator,to earn pocket money and fund his education.
After completing college, he did a job in Dubai as an accountant; he worked in Dubai till 2003. After that, he returned to India and started pursuing his career as an interior decorator with his friends.
After that, Balu Mahendra told Vijay Sethupathi that he has a very photogenic face and encouraged him to try acting, and Vijay Sethupathi considered this option.

After returning to India, Vijay Sethupathi married his girlfriend Jessy, and the couple has two children, a daughter named Shreeja and a son named Surya.
Movie career
Vijay Sethupathi began his career by acting in minor roles, where the prominent role he played was the lead actor’s friend. He did not find any significant role in movies, but he simultaneously worked in television series like Penn and in the short film.
The actor got his break in 2009, collaborating with director Suseenthiram in the sports drama film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu.
The director was impressed by his performance;Suseenthiram recommended Vijay to the director Seenu Ramasay for the movie Thenmerku Paruvakaatru for the lead role. The movie was released in December 2010 and won three national film awards and the best Tamil feature film.
The year 2012 was a turning point in the career of Vijay Sethupathias he had three releases this year, and all ofthe releases were commercially and critically successful.
In the initial movie,i.e., Sundarapandian played a negative role, and S.R. Prabhakaran directed the film.
After that, he played the lead role in Karthik Subbaraj’s movie ‘Pizza.’This movie co-starred Remya Nambeesan and was released in October 2012. This movie was also a major critical and commercial success.
For the last movie, Vijay Sethupathi collaborated with director Balaji Tharaneetharan for comedy entertainer Naduvula Konjam Pallatha Kaanom.
